CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

20/20/20

20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, 20 minutes of strength training and 20 minutes of core, balance, stability, and Barre- inspired movements. Truly a complete workout.

12 PACK

Instructed on 12 stations in the upper fitness room. Exercises provided are a balance of arms, legs, abs and cardio, providing a total body workout. Since the exercises are equally timed, ranges of repetitions ensure the intensity is up to you, allowing this class to be scaled for the beginner to the most dedicated. Modifications are always available should you have a need for either something easier or more challenging. Go through the stations a few times and you’re off to an incredible, invigorating start to your day!

BARBELL SCULPT

A total body workout! This class will challenge all of your major muscle groups, while incorporating bursts of cardiovascular activity. Barbell Sculpt will help you gain strength, build lean muscle and burn fat. A great class to end your week! All fitness levels will be challenged and are welcome.

BARBELL INTERVALS

Challenge all of your major muscle groups, while incorporating bursts of cardiovascular activity. The class focuses on gaining strength, building lean muscle and burning fat. All fitness levels will be challenged and are welcome!

BARBELL STRENGTH

Strengthen your entire body – FAST! This workout will challenge all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts & curls. Using a proven formula of lower weight loads combined with higher repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and produce lean body muscle without bulk. There is great music in the class that will inspire you to get the results you came for, and have fun doing it! All fitness levels welcome!

BARBELL FUSION

Designed to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body. It incorporates great music and makes fitness fun, all while offering fat burning workouts that integrate light weights, a chair/barre workout and various props. Each class includes several highly effective sequences of toning and resistance exercises with emphasis on the core, arms, seat and thighs. These are challenging, no impact classes that will lead to maximum results.

BEACH BODY INTERVALS

Combines movements from the highly popular P90X and Insanity Beachbody formats. The class will focus on total body strength training with integrated short cardio bursts, plyometrics, and core conditioning. Beachbody Intervals is designed to fun and challenging for all fitness levels. The class will include strength training using dumbbells, body weight resistance, bands, exercise balls and more. Beachbody Intervals will help you build lean muscle, improve your endurance and coordination, strengthen your core, and rev up your metabolism!

CYCLE 360

Adds variety to your everyday indoor cycling class by combining the best of indoor cycling, off-the- bike strength training and core training. The result is a total-body circuit training program that allows participants to experience an amazing aerobic workout while strengthening their lower body, upper body, and core.

INTERVAL TRAINING WITH YOGA

A highly effective combination of cardiovascular bursts of exercise (low impact options offered) and bodyweight strength training, followed by a meditative and core strengthening yoga flow.  The class is a great way to cap off a busy week fusing together a full-body workout with a much deserved mental release!  All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

INSANITY

the perfect adaptation of the insanely-popular at-home workout, the health club version of Insanity has been designed with the Group Exercise participant in mind. Insanity exercises are cardio-based and intended to chisel you from head-to-toe, using your body weight as resistance. Modifications will be shown throughout class in order to provide the ultimate workout, regardless of fitness level.

KICKBOXING

A mixed martial arts- inspired class designed to sculpt and define your entire body. The class is athletic, low-impact and highly effective for all fitness levels. Plus, you leave feeling completely stress free!

PIYO

A fusion athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of yoga and Pilates, as well as the principle of stretch, strength training, conditioning and dynamic movement. It is a class that will get your heart rate going with continuous movement and awesome music. The overall goal of the workout is to develop strong, toned and lean muscles, build endurance, burn up fat and improve agility.

SPINNING

A fun, athletic workout that closely mimics a true biking experience…all from the comforts of an indoor studio! Speed, terrain and intensity vary in each class, improving cardiovascular endurance and boosting lower-body strength.

STRENGTH FUSION

A total body workout focusing on flexibility, balance, upper and lower body strength, with a total class focus on core strength. After an hour, you will feel more flexible, strong, and lean. Improvements in flexibility and core power will have you noticing positive changes in how you move through your day, how well you perform your athletic activities, and how well you stay injury free.

TRX

Allows you to leverage your own bodyweight and gravity to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously. This form of strength training develops physical strength while using functional movements and dynamic positions. Our bodies are an interconnected chain of muscles, so every movement we perform is a whole-body movement. Safe and effective for all ages and fitness levels!

TURBO KICK

Combines traditional kickboxing moves with interval training for an unbelievable calorie burn. During class you will sculpt your upper and lower body, increase your heart rate in an interval format and get an amazing core workout. Class is super fun, it goes by fast and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels!

YOGA

Flow through an energizing sequence of yoga postures synchronized with your breath.   Relieve stress, center your mind, improve flexibility, increase strength, and improve posture. A variety of options are made available to modify, intensify, or more deeply challenge the body depending on the needs/goals of the participant.
